Paratek was selected as top 200 most innovative US companies

The Red Herring editorial team selected the Finalists for the 2011 Red Herring 100 North America Award. This group of 200 companies is the short list for the Top 100 North America award. They are the most innovative companies from a pool of hundreds from across North America. The Finalists are evaluated on both quantitative and qualitative criteria, such as financial performance, technology innovation, quality of management, execution of strategy, and disruption into their respective industries. After one final stage of judging, a live presentation at the Red Herring North America Forum in Hollywood, California, June 13-15, the 2011 Top 100 North America will be selected and announced at a special award dinner on June 15 at the event.

With deep regret we announce that on Sept. 10, 2010 Vladimir Smoliyaninov suddenly passed away.

Vladimir was born on January 29, 1967 in the town of Ukhta, Russia. He graduated from the, Moscow State University majoring in modern history and was awarded MBA degree at the European School of Management in France.

Vladimir started his career in London office of Morgan Stanley in mergers and acquisitions department. He continued his professional career in Zurich office of UBS, and later in Moscow at Renaissance Capital, where in capacity of Vice-president supervised and participated in a number of transactions in telecommunications sector.

Later, Vladimir became a co-founder and managing director of LV Finance, company which specialized in corporate finance services for telecommunication companies in Russia.

The last company of Vladimir was investment management company S-Group Capital Management, where he held a position of Director and led several investment projects in biotechnology, medicine and laser technology.

Vladimir will forever remain in our memory as a talented and extraordinary man. His encyclopedic knowledge and a fantastic power invariably impressed all who knew him.
