S-Group History

S-Group Capital Management (SGCM) was founded in early 2007 by Mr. Mordashov, who attracted a team of professionals, with the aim of building a leading private equity and venture capital management company.

Later this year, Mr. Mordashov through SGCM partners established Sever Group Travel Holding to enter the promising tourism market both in Russia and abroad.

In December 2008, the company committed to a new closed venture fund S-Group Ventures set up with Sever Asset Management LLC, which is affiliated with SGCM. Sever Asset Management LLC was one of five winners of the completion held by the OJSC “Russian Venture Company.” SGCM specialists are involved in the management of S-Group Ventures.
